El Toreador Mexican Restaurant in Redmond

Was five stars. Down to three due to lack of service. It was a busy night but took an hour to get food, got double charged and the waitress at the bar actually argued that she was correct and didn’t bother to look at the number of plates she set down. Really strange experience. Food quality has declined since prior visit as well. Was my favorite spot. Shame.

This place is awesome the food is fantastic and comes out quickly every time. Also the staff is super friendly. highly recommend.

Excellent food, reasonable price, and good service. The portions are very large, so even a large person like me was satiated. The rice and beans were particularly fantastic.

I've been going to El T's for over 30 yrs. Last night's dinner was good as usual. Waiters could be a bit more attentive.

Try the red salsa... again and again and again... its sooo delicious!

Walked by after dinner and was surprised there were a lot of people inside. It is not a very attractive looking place, but the food must be good. Went there for lunch a few days after, immediately served chips and salsa. The chips were warm, crunchy and thick. The menu options were good with have smaller dishes for small eater (not the kids menu...). The dishes we ordered were all good, even though it was a bit salty for me, but were the same as other Mexican restaurants.

To say I’m obsessed with this place isn’t saying enough. Service, food, atmosphere EVERYTHING was exceptional. Easily the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. We got the cheese enchiladas and HOLY GOODNESS IT WAS PHENOMENAL. and the service??! Probably the best I’ve ever ever ever experienced. This is a top notch restaurant. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Great chips and salsa. Serve was adequate. Everyone at my table complained about how the meat dishes were heavy on veggies and light on meat. I agree with the previous comment that the dishes tasted more like Asian dishes than Mexican. Their sour mix is obviously fake (from a bottle), so don’t waste the extra couple of bucks on the top shelf margarita b/c it won’t matter.

Their entree portion especially vegetarian chimichanga is a joke. Not enough for one person, no veggies stuffing at all no onions or peppers just a lump of mashed potatoes. Never had such terrible chimichanga. i wont recommend to anyone.

A classic place in downtown Redmond. Super friendly people and great food. Tonight I had the Toreador which has a wonderful green sauce. Good for families or a date night. Came in for my birthday and they gave me churros. Yum. Daughter orders fried ice cream and is very good.

I really liked the gorditas. They were like corn flour mini pizzas. More meat might have been nice but it wasn’t expensive either. The bartender margarita is the best.

Absolutely the best. Have been coming for years and have never been disappointed. Its busy always, but always consistently wonderful. Great food, great margaritas, great staff. This is a staple in my life.

Great service, I love that there are many food options. If you do not know what something is just ask they are always happy to help recommend something yummy. Margaritas are AMAZING!!!

The chalupas are literally the best thing on earth

Great family owned Mexican restaurant. They have a fairly big menu and it seems there's a dish for just about anyone. Despite going to during lunch time and with a party, they were quick and flawless.

The food here was amazing! If you're looking for some good margaritas with really good Mexican food, this is your place to go! I got the enchilada and tamale combo plate, and might I say that it was amazing! Definitely would come back!

My favorite Mexican spot on the east side. Love their salsa. Can't go wrong with their carne asada.

The best!! Always have to stop and eat if we are in the area. I had 1 red chicken enchilada and 1 green pork enchilada. The green was sooooo flavorful. With a bartender's margarita. 😋
